Free Breakfast for All

Every child at Chesterton Primary has access to a free breakfast item in a ‘grab and go’ basket that is delivered to the classroom. This is currently supported by Chesterton Street Champions, who are a local organisation, dedicated to help the community.

The items vary each day and include:
• Toast
• Bagels
• Waffles
• Pita Breads
• Crumpets
• Brioche

Free Fruit

Every classroom has a basket of fruit that children can also grab and go. This is to support the notion of ‘five-a-day’ and to encourage healthy eating across the school.

The school is supported by the free fruit government scheme and the type of fruit varies week-to-week.
